The first two days of the Valspar Championship at Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor, Florida, are in the books and there are several big-name PGA Tour stars headed home a few days early.
However, on the other side of the leaderboard, there are five players tied for the lead at 6 under: Kevin Streelman, Chandler Phillips, Stewart Cink, Brendon Todd and Mackenzie Hughes. There are nine players, including Justin Thomas, tied for sixth at 5 under, one back.
The biggest name to miss the cut is Jordan Spieth, who missed the weekend last week as well at the Players Championship.
Although the second round was suspended due to darkness and the cut won’t be made official until Saturday morning, Data Golf says there’s a 100 percent chance the cutline will fall at even par.
