On Wednesday, the PGA Tour announced Camilo Villegas has been named the chairman of the Player Advisor Council (PAC) after a vote by the membership.
The five-time Tour winner, most recently at the 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship, will serve as PAC chairman for the remainder of 2024 and replace Jordan Spieth as one of the Player Directors on the Policy Board on Jan. 1, 2025. His term will be three years (2025-2027).
When his term begins, Villegas will join Tiger Woods, Patrick Cantlay, Adam Scott, Webb Simpson and Peter Malnati as Player Directors.
Villegas beat out two-time Tour winner Kevin Streelman in a vote Tuesday night.
